Did you know, when the deadliest recorded earthquake was? The world’s deadliest recorded earthquake happened in 1557 in China. It struck a region where most people lived in caves carved out of soft rock. The dwellings collapsed during the earthquake, killing an estimated 830,000 people.

Imagine how scary those calamities must have all seemed back then!!!

OMG that's a huge death toll Looking at the date, I do find it interesting how some cultures record and keep data on events, etc. that occurred so long ago.
