Woohoo - early QOTD again - thanks Karla!

Today's Question(s):

What was the last new thing you have tried in the following categories:
Food ?
My daughter talked me into having Quorn (it's some vegetarian pretend meat stuff)... it was not something I want to try again any time soon!
Adult Beverage ?
I had a cocktail of some description when out for dinner with friends in Chicago last July... but don't remember what it was called.
Exercise ?
Sorry - completely foreign concept!
Hobby ?
I already have several hobbies that I never seem to get to - haven't tried a new one in forever.
lol Excuses ?
My old excuses work perfectly well - no new ones needed!

Bonus Question:

I guess you could say when it comes to
my daily routine I must admit I am in a Rut ?

Extra Credit Question:

Do you have any type of "Roadside Assistance" for you vehicle ?
Yup - and I generally need to use it right after I return home from an overseas trip... the car battery is almost always flat. Our road service doesn't mind if the car they are rescuing is parked in its own garage.

Just for Fun:

Who was the last person you sang or wished Happy Birthday to ?
My best guy friend - his birthday is February 23... I spared him my singing though!

Can you Waltz ?
Passably, though I tend to take on the male's role... I went to an all girls school and half the class had to take the boy's role in ballroom dancing.

Would you be considered a "gastronome" ?
Yeah, I probably would actually. I'm very adventurous food-wise (except for Quorn LOL), and love to eat out at 'fine dining' restaurants.

Heading into Saturday here - hope everyone has a Fab Friday.

If it just means I eat good food, yes. But good food to me is simple food. I like an apple off a tree, not gourmet dishes.

Some of the catering we get out of Africa for our plane defies any description I can come up with.

Adult Beverage ?
Have been lacking in this department

No new hobbies

I think I will waltz right on past this question.

Would you be considered a "gastronome" ?
Hmmmmm...Does adding a can of mushrooms to hamburger helper make me a "gastronome"? I do have more than 5 recipies that start with "Prepare 1 package ramen noodles...".
