I had a special request for Today's Tip. Someone asked me to explain how to post photos on C-D threads. I will explain it as best I can, and I encourage everyone who's more knowledgeable than I to add their own bonus tips!
When I was first on C-D, I didn't know how to post photos, and rainroosty recommended tinypic.com. It works great for me, so that's what I always use. I think you can do similar stuff with Photobucket and other sites as well.
Here's how I do it ~ Go to www.tinypic.com. The title on the home page will say UPLOAD IMAGES & VIDEOS. Click on the Browse button. Find the folder in which you've saved photos and/or other images on your hard drive. Double-click on the photo or image you want to upload. Click UPLOAD NOW! Type in the 2 security words in the box and then click UPLOAD NOW. Momentarily, you will see a thumbnail version of your image. Right click on the image and choose "copy." A copy of the image is now on your virtual clipboard. Return to your C-D thread, at the place where you want to insert the photo, and put your cursor there. Right click and choose "paste." Voila! Your photo will appear!
This may seem like a lot of instructions, but it only takes seconds and is very easy. (Otherwise, I couldn't do it!) Below are two versions of a photo from one of my folders.
