Heatwave. "We're having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave...."

This from the Seattle Times: "The Seattle area recorded its hottest day of the year Thursday, with a high of 94 recorded in late afternoon at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the official recording station.

"That's 17 degrees higher than normal for the date, but below the record of 98, set in 1967."

Hello all. Boo Boo Baby the kitty says hello, too (she has just walked across the keyboard a few times).

At Publix I ALWAYS sample!!! Today I picked up a few things, including a yummy honeydew melon.
At other stores it just depends. I'd have to say I sample more than I don't! I have been known to go back for seconds! We did this in college (which has been a year or two ago!). Our main target was the Hickory Farms at the mall.

I have no idea what will actually get done this weekend. This week I have changed around 75% of my plans! I know what absolutely has to be finished. Front yard area (tiny, but grew like weeds this week) and back yard area (again -- tiny, but the rain and my hand have held up progress this week.

What I would LIKE to do is go to the market and riverpark and the mall. I need another "interview" top. I also want to make a dent on the room where most of the unpacked boxes are and hit the upstairs a bit.

I'm not an obnoxious person -- sweet, funny and sometimes dingy -- but not obnoxious. I don't think I ever been called that!

Re car starter -- I don't want to know how the car works -- I just want it to go!!! Lawnmower starters are not my favorites, either. They don't like me.

Yeah for the days! Vanilla custard day -- wanted to make tomorrow but I think some of the cooking plans are by the wayside. Good for Davy Crockett day -- from a Tennessean. Wrenches are things that only men use.

Enjoy your new kitchen! So glad it's through -- what a great feeling.
