Today's Question(s):
in honor of Hoagie Day

What do you call Hoagies in your part of the country ?
A sandwich on a long roll with sliced meat and toppings I've never heard the word Hoagies used in the context of sandwiches in Australia!

What is you favorite type of this sandwich ?
No favourite... not keen on long rolls as a sandwich - too much bread for my taste.

Last time you had one ?
During last trip to USA - July 2010. I shared one with a friend.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing you wish you could of rented instead of bought ?
I considered renting a pressure washer a few months ago, but ended up buying one. Even though it hasn't been used much, I'm glad I bought it. So there's nothing I can think of which I wish I could have rented instead of bought.

Inquiring Minds Question:

Do you have any special plans for Mother's Day ?
My daughter has been remarkably quiet on the subject of M. Day, so I'm thinking 'something's up'. No idea what though.

Bonus Question:

If family member or loved one called you and said "Hey I want to fly you to XYZ to see us for the weekend" would you:
Drop everything pack and your bags ?
I could easily do this if I wanted to go. I could probably be ready in less than an hour.
Need 1 extra day to get ready ?
Advise them you couldn't go ?
Other ?

Just for Fun:

Are there any padlocks around your home ? Yes, but none are in use - no need to lock stuff up round these parts!

lol do you have the keys to them ? Hmmm, the keys are probably around somewhere, but possibly not actually with the padlocks.

Thanks for the QOTDs this week Karla. Happy weekend to all.

Taking a few minutes before I do payroll to answer

Today's Question(s):
in honor of Hoagie Day

What do you call Hoagies in your part of the country ?
They call them "subs" here in NEFL
Being from Phila I still call them Hoagies

What is you favorite type of this sandwich ? I don't really eat the traditional type. I will make my own with just the roll and meat but no toppings

Last time you had one ? I will probably have turkey on a roll later today

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing you wish you could of rented instead of bought ?
The container of sliced & peeled Mangos I bought yesterday. They were not ripe and tasted yucky

Inquiring Minds Question:

Do you have any special plans for Mother's Day ?
Not sure
Might take hubbys Mom out for dinner
problem is she doesn't like to drive over the bridge back to her house at night and usually stays here. Because of her church duties on Sundays and her work on Monday I don't see what night this weekend we could do this.

If that doesn't pan out I might have hubby take me out because I am "Mom" to our fur kids

Drop everything pack and your bags ? lol maybe this one depending on where the location was

Advise them you couldn't go ?
Other ?

Today's Question(s):
in honor of Hoagie Day

What do you call Hoagies in your part of the country ?
Subs

What is you favorite type of this sandwich ?
High on my list are cheesesteaks. However the only place that knows how to make a really good cheesesteak is the Pickle Barrel in Bozeman Montana.

Last time you had one ?
It has been way too long since I ate at the Pickle Barrel. I ate at Subway about a month ago.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing you wish you could of rented instead of bought ?
It would be nice if I could just rent my food. After all I only use it for a short while before getting rid of it.

Inquiring Minds Question:

Do you have any special plans for Mother's Day ?
I suppose I should call my mom. I will be out of town as usual.

Bonus Question:

If family member or loved one called you and said "Hey I want to fly you to XYZ to see us for the weekend" would you:
Drop everything pack and your bags ?
Need 1 extra day to get ready ?
Advise them you couldn't go ?
Other ?
If I knew I was going to be off work, then there is a good chance I would go. However if work had me out and about somewhere then it is not likely I would go.

Just for Fun:

Are there any padlocks around your home ?
One or two.

lol do you have the keys to them ?
The keys are somewhere. Not really sure exactly where. Can always cut the loocks if needed.
