Today’s little factoid is another example of why big brother might want to add a ‘common sense’ section to gun permit applications . . . . Didja Know?

In 1982, a cactus in Phoenix, Arizona killed a man. David Grundman fired two shotgun blasts at a giant saguaro cactus that ended up falling on top of him

Yep, I remember that happening back in the early 80's. It was all over the news for a week or so. The cactus was a tall Saguaro, 26 ft, weighing around 2 tons.
Here's story relating to it.

I lived in Phoenix for 3 years, and those Saguaro's can be real crushers. The wind can potentially topple them as well.
