Good tips Pam. The Jeep has cloth seats and the motor home had beige leather so I am good to go.

The 4-wheeler is another story. I burn my legs when I sit in that seat. I use a towel to cover it

Hey if it gets really hot you can make some Dashboard Cookies, lol.

"It's either too hot or to cold......."

And right now it's too hot. Great tips, Pam.

I really enjoyed everyone's responses today! You guys are funny! I have cloth seats, so I'm good, but I'm one of those weird people that loves the feel of getting into a baking hot car! Of course, then I turn the air on and I don't live in Texas. Hubby was looking at cars on the internet. One had interior color called "peanut butter." Truthfully, it made me want to eat peanut butter.

Great tips, Pam. Jumped in my son's car the other day and nearly burned all the skin off my legs

Loved the tip. I have had a few kids that were more than a little upset whent they tried putting their seat belts on. I will have to remember to keep something in the car to cover up the seats and the seat belts. LOL

Awesome as usual!

Didja know you can get a second degree burn from a seat belt buckle? Just ask my son! His car is matte black/black too.

When will they learn?

I crack the windows while the AC is on.....then after a minute or so.....I can touch the steering wheel.
Every year I say I'm going to buy a steering wheel cover, but never do.

Great tip Ms Tipster. We give this same info to all newcomers to the desert area right away. It only takes a few minutes to get very hot 120F and around 15-20 minutes to reach 180F or more in the summer here.
