The longest day trip I've ever driven was Memphis to St Louis. That's about 300 miles one way.

What is the longest/farthest you will drive for a day trip ? Assuming you mean a "there and back" trip, the furthest I'd drive would probably be around 4 hours tops. Just going from A to B, I'm perfectly happy to drive 9 or 10 hours.

What did you do to entertain yourself while waiting ? Phoned the late person to check her ETA, then deleted old texts from cell phone and people-watched.

Daydreamed and listened to the video playing about eye problems like cataracts, macular degeneration, detached retina. I only listed because I was sitting under the screen. I'm good at daydreaming, though.

We get in there and jump and fall and laugh ourselves silly! Another benefit is, it's a great aerobic workout! Quarry? No. Mine?
