Seems that way to many people have their life clock set to permanent snooze so that they neither see life's concerns nor feel anything much at all.

The most-clicked stories of the year ..........

"Frankly, I'm disappointed in you people. Here I am explaining how economic modeling of climate change seems incommensurate with zzzzz ... hm? ... something ... and you're off clicking on pictures of dolphin sex terrorists and lawn chairs. You think you're hiding the wonkery when you shift it around your plate, but we can tell you're feeding it to the dog under the table."

11 from ‘11: The most-clicked Grist stories of the year | Grist

Yeah, I can hear all the snoring now..............

Ahhhhh, Grist e-zine. The tree hugger's version of the New York Times.

Personally, I prefer Mother Earth News. But, i'm an old hippie type organic farmer and it's much more oriented to my lifestyle.

found on the above link:
Quote:
10. Is your shampoo making you fat?
This article is about chemicals that "alter the epigenetic regulation of certain genes, disrupting the programming of hormonal signaling pathways." Something tells me it wouldn't be on the list if that were in the headline.
....and here I thought it was all that darn holiday chocolate.....

I've seen this posted numerous places on the internet -

"I've figured out why I'm fat! The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my body says 'For extra volume and body'. I'm going to start using 'Dawn' dish soap. It says "Dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove'."

And as we all know -
Spoiler
If we read it on the internet, it has to be true.

So, that what's doing it? My shampoo?

All this time I was blaming peri-menopause. I feel so silly.

Well, all I can say is shave my head and call me skinny!
