Good morning peevers.

It's the day of finally removing the last bits and pieces from the kitchen and the utility room today. The spare fridge is set up in the garage and things are stored all over the house and elsewhere.

They'll be a big skip coming tomorrow as well as four workmen doing different jobs. On Friday I suddenly realised that I'd overlooked a electrical fitting that needed removing.

Thing is, this isn't my usual job but as I now seem to be project managing everything I'm having to learn fast.

I don't mind it so much, especially as most of the workmen are my friends, but let this be the basis of the POTD which is;

Having to learn something new fast.

Sometimes you have to learn to move fast or get fired.

I'm still trying to remember what I've already learned, let alone learn anything new.

I guess it doesn't matter how fast you learn....as long as you DO learn.......

There have been many, many times during my career that I had to learn something new real quick. Must say I love the challenge of having to think fast (and learn fast) on my feet.

Depends on what it is that must be learned in a hurry. Sometimes I can meet that challenge.......and sometimes not.

One more reason I love farming, not much I need to learn that has to be done fast.
