Holidays, any holiday, is just another day to me! I went grocery shopping Monday morning after work, fearing the store would be closed Tuesday, which I foolishly thought was the 4th! I even asked the clerk what she had planned to do for the Holiday! Tuesday, the 3rd!

What we’re celebrating today is a spirit of independence, a spirit that asserts that people have rights that government can’t trample.
The Declaration of Independence asserts that repeated violations of individual rights cannot be tolerated.
Independence Day is a day to celebrate the spirit of those who spoke up — and still speak up today. Happy Independence Day
Since today is July 4, Independence Day in the U.S.A. , I thought we should take a few moments to think about how fortunate we are to live in this great country. Listen to the choir's rendition of America The Beautiful, and read the lyrics below. Let them stir your patriotism!
If any of our Today's Tip audience are not from America, how about sharing a patriotic song or thought about your own country with us?
America, The Beautiful Lyrics by Katharine Lee Bates - 1913
O beautiful for spacious skies, For amber waves of grain, For purple mountain majesties Above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed His grace on thee, And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!
O beautiful for pilgrim feet, Whose stern impassion'd stress A thoroughfare for freedom beat Across the wilderness! America! America! God mend thine ev'ry flaw, Confirm thy soul in self-control, Thy liberty in law!
O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife, Who more than self their country loved, And mercy more than life! America! America! May God thy gold refine Till all success be nobleness, And ev'ry gain divine!
O beautiful for patriot dream That sees beyond the years Thine alabaster cities gleam, Undimmed by human tears! America! America! God shed His grace on thee, And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!

Good morning everyone, and Happy Fourth of July.
If you are able to sing America The Beautiful in Any Language You Should Be Thankful to the Good Lord You are Able And Free To Sing It In Any Language, Without Being Persecuted. .
Our Freedoms as a nation should never be taken for granted, that's why I'm happy, and very thankful, to celebrate Independence Day, EVERY DAY, not just on July 4th.
Jezer, I really enjoyed your video along with the others. It was way cool, seeing all of the monarchs from the beginning. I noticed at least two - Queen Jane and one of the Edwards - who lasted less than a year on the throne. One of our U.S. presidents was only in office for about 30 days when he died.
Keep 'em coming, folks. This has turned into a great thread!
