Extra Credit Question:
What items would you be sure to take with you when you go for a day in the sun at the beach? That is a good question. Anchorage has not had much sun this summer. However that is not really a problem as Anchorage does not have much in the way of beaches.
Bonus Question:
Have you ever made ice cream at home? If yes, how did it turn out? Many, many, many years ago. It was probably ok.
Just for Fun:
Are you older or younger than Disneyland? (Check Today in History for date!) It would appear that Disneyland got to California before I did. (that's right...I am actually a native Californian)

Funny you metion a dog, I just did a post on a dog we used to have. But no, I dont have a dog, just 2 cats.
When we go to the lake its sunblock, a cooler with drinks, a blanket and some snacks. Theres always a first aid kit on the boat though, just in case.
Walter, dog, 65 pounds worth of spoiled rotten to the core mush who loves everyone, big ears, the tail wags the entire dog, his favorite thing is girls and girls with food is a jackpot.
I would take my hotel key and stay in my room until it gets dark; I don't do the beach during the day.
Do you own a dog? If yes, tell us a little about him/her. Yes I do, she's a mutt that was literally dumped in my lap (I was in the bed sick) when she was just a little thing. She's a stray that was found running around in a field and I fell in love with her. Appears to be some kind of Rottweiler/shepherd mix but medium size and so very sweet!Oh and she's 8 years old now.
Extra Credit Question:
What items would you be sure to take with you when you go for a day in the sun at the beach? Definitely sunglasses, a beach umbrella, straw hat (I know, how old lady-ish is that?) large towels, sunblock, food, drinks and family!
Bonus Question:
Have you ever made ice cream at home? If yes, how did it turn out? Not since I was a kid, haven't made it as an adult

I don't. Dogs are like children. They need attention & I'm not home enough, so it wouldn't be right to have one. I do have three "grand dogs." Leila is a golden. Her whole body wiggles when she sees me. Sadie and Sierra are rescue dogs. Both are mixed breeds. Loving, happy dogs.
