I need to apologize for forgetting the qotd last Friday. With the kitchen renovations and my niece in town with the baby it just completely slipped my mind
I am happy to report the new cabinets are is as is the tile We are 3 weeks out on the counter-top installation which means another 3 weeks until I will have a sink and running water in the kitchen

lol I am thinking it would of been easier to just move

Today's Question(s):

Based solely on real life experience I probably have earned the following
PHD in ________

But lol I haven't "graduated" from Kindergarten when it comes to ___________?

Bonus Question:

Last time you went to the Airport,was it to

Pick someone up ?
Drop someone off ?
Go somewhere yourself ?
Just to watch the planes ?

Extra Credit Question:

Today's Question(s): Yayyyyy! Thanks, Karlakwaks! It's gonna be a good day! I hope that we all see ducks today, too!

Based solely on real life experience I probably have earned the following

PHD in Reptiles and Amphibians of the Eastern United States.
Masters Degree in Painter's "baffle them with B.S. knowledge"
College Degree in Eatin' and Drinkin'!
High School Degree in Cookin'

But lol I haven't "graduated" from Kindergarten when it comes to Knowledge of today's "music" or actors/actresses. (whatever's politically correct.)

Bonus Question:

Last time you went to the Airport, was it to:

Pick someone up ? ~ This
Drop someone off ? ~ I dropped them off and that's why I picked them up.
Go somewhere yourself ? ~ Nope. I won't fly no mo'.
Just to watch the planes ? ~ Nope.

Extra Credit Question: ~ Yayyy! I will make a beer run!

Do you have decorative items (Chachkies) on top of the cabinets in your kitchen ?
~ Yes! We have tons of junk, plus all of our prescription bottles, all lined up on the shelf, over the sinks.

Is there a "theme" ?
~ Oh, yes! The theme is modern geriatric hysteria.

Today in History:
1801 - A 1,235 pound cheese ball was pressed at the farm of Elisha Brown, Jr. The huge ball of cheese was later loaded on a horse-driven wagon and presented to President Thomas Jefferson at the White House I could enjoy that! I love to share!
1858 - Fee 1st charged to see a baseball game (50 cents ) (New York beats Brooklyn 22-18)
~ That's not nice. It should be free, along with the food and drink! The players should pay for it all, since the people were nice enough to attend their game!
.
1968 - Iron Butterfly's "In-a-gadda-da-vida" becomes 1st heavy metal song to hit charts, it comes in at #117 ~ Lol.......cool!
1969 - With “...one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,” astronaut, Neil Armstrong, pilot of the lunar spacecraft, the "Eagle", made the first footsteps on the surface of the moon at 10:56 p.m. EDT. .....

Today is:

National Lollipop Day ~ Gotta be a Tootsie Pop!
National Ice Cream Soda Day ~ Yay! With green soda/pop and vanilla ice cream! Or orange sodypop!
Chess Day ~ QP-Q3.
Ugly Truck Contest Day ~ I need to get me some wax!
National Nap Day ~ I won't do it, though I should.
Man on the Moon Day ~ The moon is made of cheese.

~~~Thank you for the nice questions, Karla....you and everybody please have a real nice Friday and a terrific weekend! ~~~
Thanks Karla.
College Degree in _______
High School Degree in _____
Oh, gosh... I have no idea. My dad used to say that a BS was Bull ***, a MS was More *** and a PHD was Piled Higher and Deeper. I will say I've known people with PHDs who couldn't teach their way out of a paper bag.....
So, after 38 years of teaching I should have a PHD in patience
A Masters in Psychology
A College Degree in communication
High School Degree........ ??
But lol I haven't "graduated" from Kindergarten when it comes to technology. The kids know far more than I do!
Bonus Question:
Last time you went to the Airport,was it to
Pick someone up ?
Drop someone off ?
Go somewhere yourself ?
Just to watch the planes ?
Extra Credit Question:
Do you have decorative items (Chachkies) on top of the cabinets in your kitchen ? I don't have any upper cabinets in my kitchen. If I had a larger kitchen with upper cabinets I might put family related antiques up there..... or maybe not. I don't like the thought of having to climb up to dust things.
Happy day, all!
I like the question but I don't have an answer. I consider myself a pretty smart guy so I'll just leave it at that. However, no Ph.D. in anything! There's always something more to learn.
Just to watch the planes. I love to drive to the airport (see College Degree above). Watching planes is part of the fun. Everyone at church knows I will gladly drive them to the airport. Since I don't drink at all, I am considered the churches designated sober driver.
