Peeve: Political Commercials,,,, with false, misleading and untruthful information. Isn’t there any truth in advertising any longer? Who’s paying for these ads,,,,, lobbyists, big business, corporations, big money or simply foreign interests?????? We have the best government that money can buy.

No point whatsoever in giving any politician a lie detector test! My true crime readings have proven that sociopaths/psychopaths can pass these with flying colors!

But the real dillemma: a lie is sweet in the beginning, bitter in the end; truth is bitter in the beginning, sweet in the end!

Political Commercials,,,,

They should have these rules:
1. All political ads should have the same requirement as CD posts -- include a link to the detail so readers/listeners have someplace to begin checking up on the blah blah.

2. Every person finding that the ad is untrue must be paid for their time spent searching for the truth with minimum payment the same as the cost of the ad.

Can we extend this to lawsuits and courtrooms?

What's really sad is that while many of us hear that BS and look for facts to substantiate it, there are so many out there that take those political ads as the gospel. Then we wonder why we end up with lying sacks of in office. We've got ours coming up in 2014 and the political machines are already spewing crap to discredit the current president (and party) so their party can take over for 5 years.

So what is the problem?
1) The politician?
2) The political party and their lobbyists or
3) Super-pac ads paid by un-named supporters???
