Hi, kids! I simply didn't have time to post the weekend Tip last night or this
morning. Better late than never, though, so scroll on down and check it out.

AVOID BAD BREATH

The worst time of day for bad breath is 3:00 p.m. Who knew? At that time of day, it's most likely
that things such as coffee, whatever you ate for lunch and stress can create a "perfect storm " for
bad breath. (The stress hormone, cortisol, dries your mouth.) The lack of sufficient saliva is
conducive to bad breath.

What to do? Brush your teeth after lunch for starters. Also, drink plenty of water to stay well
hydrated. Chewing gum or slowly letting a mint or piece of hard candy dissolve in your mouth can
also stiumulate saliva and make your breath fresher.

Seeing as I'm chatting to people all day at work I'm very careful to avoid this Pam.

Good tips.

Caring for the mouth is very important! I've recently discovered the benefits of xylitol. Who knew?!

After meals and in between meals chew xylitol gum or suck on xylitol mints.
Gum and mints sweetened with xylitol are superior for people with dry mouth since xylitol is clinically proven to fight tooth decay and strengthen tooth enamel.

Dry Mouth Xylitol Gum and Mints

You can get xylitol gum, mints, toothpaste and wash.

Sugar free gum or candy if you don't want to make some car payments for a dentist.

I had a former co-worker who had terrible breath and he was one of those who liked to talk a lot and be really close to you when he talked. It was pretty disgusting.

I take care of myself, usually.

I avoid bad breath by steering clear of people who have it.

Thanks for the Tip Ms Pam. I always take a nap at 3pm and when I wake up the room smells of Lysol. Wife keeps a can nearby on the table next to my chair. Who knew...
