Way cool photos, animalcrazy! Were they all taken at your home? I know you're really into Halloween, but I had no idea to what extent!
Unfortunatey, I have no Halloween pix to share.

Some friends of ours “rented” a used casket a number of years ago and placed it on the front porch of their house in an opened position. The husband got inside of it and waited for the trick or treaters to come.

Yes these are all at our house. We have a huge Halloween party every year for the shorties. There's at least 20 kids running through the house and they all want to see the attic scare. Last year they had to write something down they were sorry for and give it to the devil. We had a cleansing ceremony and they had to do a mini scavenger hunt for offerings. We burned their confessions but every one said " I know what you did." John and I had fun reading them later.

Great pictures by the way.
Thanks. I love the casket idea but I don't think I could get in it
The year I was seven I was too sick to go trick-or-treating. Pretty much all the parents in my neighborhood knew I had been sick all year so they gave their kids candy to give to me when they knocked on our door. I scored big time in the candy department.
The other was the year I was thirteen. That was the last time I went trick-or-treating. I went dressed up as a hippy. I even carried a small flower with me. It must have been around minus 30 that night. There were only 9 families at the housing compound so I did not spend much time going house to house. A couple of the places I stopped at gave me a new flower as the one I had was frozen solid.
The first couple of years I went trick-or-treating in Butte, Montana I would get mad that there were families driving their kids neighborhood to neighborhood to trick-or-treat while my parents only allowed me to trick-or-treat in our own neighborhood. There were only 10 or 12 homes in my neighborhood. Not really sure why this bothered me as all I had to do was filtch one empty pop bottle from the motel across the highway and I would have enough money for a days worth of candy.
You can take my profile picture blow it up and paste it on your entry door. That ought to scare a lot of people...
