A North Dakota woman has thought of a way to keep deer from running into oncoming traffic ~~ move
all of the deer-crossing signs off the highway.
Evidently “Donna” thinks the reason she’s had 3 deer related crashes over the past few years is because
the government has posted ‘deer crossing’ signs.
"My frustration is that Minnesota and North Dakota departments of transportation would allow these deer
crossings in such high traffic areas," she says. "Why are we encouraging deer to cross at the interstate?"

Oh Dear... I think they should put traffic signals in those deer crossings, with a "Walk" and "Don't Walk" electronic signs to let the deer know when to cross...
The correct response is to place Donna crossings at various points along the highway. That should eliminate the problem....
