Traditional, jazzy, bluesy, country'ish, rock'ish, New Agey, comedy. . . I like them all. I don't like Christmas music to sound the same, and my collection consists of them all. So if you come to my house while the music's playing you'd never know what will come on next.

"Light My Fire" is the worst one--he starts saying "Light My Fire!" so many times it makes me want to scream "Will somebody please light that poor man's fire already and put him out of his misery??"

There is not enough room for me to list all of my LEAST favorite holiday tunes. Rock and roll Christmas carols are the worst of the worst. About the only time I will turn the radio up for a holiday tune is when it is being sung by Karen Carpenter. She had the most beautiful voice in the world when it came to singing.

This!

Now this is someone who truly likes Christmas music. Very refreshing, makes most of the others on here sound like they need serious help.

I enjoy those too---more than traditional...but then I am not very traditional anyway.

got it??

Ok, guess I'll start.

O Little Town of Bethlehem.
Perhaps it is decades of hearing this slow, plodding song over and over, but it is SO annoying to me...not a "pretty" melody.
I concur with your pick. It's a whiny plodding song...unlike the hearty Good King Wenceslas, one of my faves.

Pretty much all of them for me. I detest Christmas music, it's right up there with Rap and Hawaiian music. Oh my ears, help me.
