Thanks for all your good wishes yesterday. I'm feeling my usual self today and am raring to go on a few things, so let's get the POTD out of the way so that I can get started!
Nomadicus was kind enough to send me details of a peeve of his to do with the habits of drivers and I will post his comment here;
One of my biggest pet peeves is people who weave in and out of heavy traffic to gain a car link at a time when there is only a safe distance between cars.
Impatient and inconsiderate drivers.
Good peeve, too bad it seems to happen dozens of times everyday on the roads here. And they arrive at their destination no quicker than the normal drivers.
Looks like I have my photo link back so I'm posting a few more shots of my beloved Close.
These are of the North and North West part;
Some may be interested to know that the large house in the centre of the last photo was used as Mrs Jenning's London town house in the last movie version of Jane Austin's Sense and Sensibility.
Love the photos, and I'm very glad to hear that you're better, Jezer. If you removed the cars and people from those images, they could be from 300 years ago.
Inconsiderate drivers annoy me, too, although now that I am retired I'm seldom in a hurry. I usually just let the impatient folks through and tell myself that maybe they are late for an appointment or need to use the potty.
We have them here in Maryland. I particularly like it when after they've cut in front of you, you see them held up at the stop light so, they didn't get any further for their rude antics after all. Also, we have ones that when joining traffic will drive as far as up at they can and then EXPECT to be allowed in.
Glad to hear you're doing better Jezer. Thanks for the pics.

And I always see they "stopped" & waiting at the red light as I drive up to it slowly while it changes............
