Morning y’all
. . . . . Didja Know?
Making it possibly the oldest correction in the history of journalism, the editorial board
of The Patriot-News (f/k/a The Patriot & Union) in Pennsylvania retracted a 150 year old
editorial that panned President Lincoln’s famous Gettysburg address as “silly remarks”

Showing that it’s never too late to say I’m sorry, the newspaper said:

"In the editorial about President Abraham Lincoln's speech delivered Nov. 19, 1863,
in Gettysburg, the Patriot & Union failed to recognize its momentous importance,
timeless eloquence, and lasting significance. The Patriot-News regrets the error."

I wonder if Congress is going to wait that long to apologize to the country.
