We have a lot of lottery games here in MD. I no longer play as it's a major ripoff that recently got worse as far as the Mega Millions goes.
It used to be odds of 1 in 176 million and now it's 1 in 259 million as 19 regular numbers were recently added. It puzzles me why some people only play when the jackpots get astronomical. I'm sure that was the idea when officials added those extra mumbers.

I can do without it because I do not like to shovel. I live alone so I am the only one that does it. Since I rent I only have to dig my car out.
The worst was the 3 blizzards we had in the 2009-2010 winter season, two of them were back to back. Since then we haven't had that much snow.
I don't know what we average around here, maybe 15 inches a season. We already had 5-6 which is more than we've had in the last 2 years combined.

Do you buy them in pocket-sized packs, or in square or rectangular boxes ? All three, plus a travel-sized box that goes in the glove compartment of the car

Do you purchase a ticket or tickets for that (if so, how often) ? I used to when the State lottery first began, but not any more.

Have you ever been near-and/or affected by-an erupting volcano ? No, although I visited Kilauea on the big island of Hawaii once not long after an eruption, and you could still see a red glow underneath some of the black hardened lava.
Just for Fun:
Do you get snow where you live ? Very rarely and then only briefly and either not enough to stick to the ground, or it melts very fast
If so, who shovels you out ? No shoveling required
Do you like snow-how does it make you feel ? I love snow in moderation. It makes me feel like skiing.

Do you purchase a ticket or tickets for that (if so, how often) ?
I have in the past but it is very rarely. I might spend 5 dollars every couple months.
Bonus:
Have you ever been near-and/or affected by-an erupting volcano ?
A few times. I was living in Eastern Washington when Mt St Helens erupted. I did not know it had erupted until I turned on the radio while out for a drive. Seeing how I never have more than 15 minutes of food in the house I made a beeline to the nearest grocery story. It was too late. I had to park 2 blocks away. Things like ramen noodles, canned goods, and bottled water were all bought out. I was able to get enough other things to last me a while. Turns out the ash cloud passed just to the North of us. All that panic was for nothing.
Just for Fun:
Do you get snow where you live ?
Very little. So far only a skiff of snow that lasted a couple hours.
If so, who shovels you out ?
Don't know and don't care. I guessing the person that oversees the condo buildings takes care of it. If not I have a Jeep so I am not worried.
Do you like snow-how does it make you feel ? I use to like snow 40 years ago. Anymore I am content to just see it as I am flying over the mountains.

Do you like snow-how does it make you feel ? The one time I experienced snow falling was when I was in high school and visited Lake Tahoe in the early spring. It was the light, fluffy snow and seeing it fall all around me felt very magical. I haven't experienced that since.
