An octagon house with angles of eight.

Was built with eight walls, each wall was built straight.

All walls have a door with a window too
.
Each of the windows has an outdoor view.

No matter the wall or the window pane
.
There's an oddity which you must explain.

All windows face south no matter the view.

Just how can this be, do you have a clue?

Spoiler
The house was built at the North Pole
