I always laugh when I see a Driver's School car whether it's funny or not! I've seen people in the San Antonio forum wanting someone to teach them to drive a "stick shift".. Learned on a column shift standard at 10-12 then drove like a maniac with my 4 on the floor. Later moved into "relax mobiles" with auto trans.. To get a license one should know how to drive them all. Damn car thieves can't even get away in a standard.

Some kids are good at this game, and some are not. I am lucky, my commute to work is 30+ miles one way and there is not one stop light! I take that back. There are 4 stop signs and one flashing red light.

I think the possums, skunks, and armadillo's need a stop light. Too much roadkill.

I think my city has never met a sot light they didn't like. We have one area where there is 6 stop lights on less than 1/4 mile.

The town I grew up in had only one stop light. Then it got another and a blinking light red on one side, yellow on the other.

Who knows, they might have half a dozen by now!!!

I hate approaching a stale green light. Crazy people not paying attention anymore just gun it and go as soon as the light changes and some poor sloe is caught in the middle because there wasn't time to stop before it changed.

Yeah, I'm more cautious than ever when I approach a green light and there's not much or no traffic on the roads. People around here will run red lights, especially late at night when they don't see any other cars approaching the intersection. They just fly right on through, usually going very fast! I come to a virtual stop at green lights after about 11 PM here and look carefully in all directions before proceeding.

Makes me think of the game, "Red Light, Green Light" that we played when I was growing up. Who else remembers that game? I loved that one. Sweet memories!

That's always a good idea Dave, we've had problems with red light runners here and they set up cameras at a lot of intersections to catch them. I also look both ways before crossing an intersection, no matter what time of the day it is.
