Today's Moving Questions:
What's the furthest you've ridden a bus - where to where? I think the trip I took from Edinburgh, Scotland to Holyhead, Wales was the longest.

How did you acquire your first car or other transport? My dad helped me choose my first car right after I left college and I paid for it myself. I'm thinking I paid about $200 for a 20-year-old Humber 8.

If you're moving along a street parallel to railroad tracks, do you ever feel like you're racing a train? It has been years, but probably.

What do you do while sitting in a car and waiting to cross busy railroad tracks? While the arms are down I check my phone for emails. If no traffic control, check both ways and cross when it's clear.

What funny or weird things have you seen or heard of people doing while waiting there or at stop lights? Loud music.

How about while driving? The usual reading, singing, rocking out.

Would you rather ride:
-a stagecoach in an old west movie?
-a horse drawn sleigh through snow on a farm?
-a carriage through a rainy park in a big city?
-horseback in a parade?
-on the Budweiser beer wagon pulled by Clydesdales?
-or (please describe) other hossie powered transport?

If you drink beer or rootbeer, what kinds? I don't like either.

What prepackaged or box dinners have you tried? There's a pasta salad "helper" that I buy occasionally.

Do you eat or make salad sandwiches - like ham, chicken, or egg? I make chicken or egg salad for sandwiches if I have left-over chicken or eggs. I only buy eggs if I have people staying with me or if I've baked.

What other salad or made-from-a-mix sammiches can you think of? Every year or so, I'll make sloppy joes.

Thanks bjh and happy day everyone!

Mornin' all!

Today's Questions hopped on the bus, Gus. ---> 0Oo.[=.==.=[].]

Today's Moving Questions:
What's the furthest you've ridden a bus - where to where?
From my high school in Lake Station Indiana to Quebec City, Quebec Canada. Twenty hours with about 30 teenagers and a handful of chaperones! That was 34 years ago, and remember it like it was yesterday.

How did you acquire your first car or other transport?
I bought it from some guy. It was a 1973 Dodge Charger Special Edition. I was going to restore it, but ended up not being able to afford all the necessary work. I had to sell it to some other guy, and I cried when he took it away. I remember that like it was yesterday too.

If you're moving along a street parallel to railroad tracks, do you ever feel like you're racing a train?
(This is nothing to do with crossing tracks while a train is on them! Just driving alongside.)
Sure! And I am very respectful of trains. I know they're much bigger than me, and take a long time to stop!

What do you do while sitting in a car and waiting to cross busy railroad tracks?
Turn off the engine and play Sudoku.

What funny or weird things have you seen or heard of people doing while waiting there or at stop lights?
I'm too busy with my Sudoku to notice what others are doing.

How about while driving?
I actually have seen a woman behind the wheel with a cup of coffee in one hand and a cell phone in the other!

Bonus Hossie Question:
Would you rather ride:
-a stagecoach in an old west movie?
-a horse drawn sleigh through snow on a farm?
-a carriage through a rainy park in a big city?
-horseback in a parade?
-on the Budweiser beer wagon pulled by Clydesdales?
-or (please describe) other hossie powered transport?

Foodie and Bevvie Questions:
If you drink beer or rootbeer, what kinds?
Not too crazy about root beer. As for hard beer, I like ales and stouts.

What prepackaged or box dinners have you tried?
(ex. Hamburger Helper, but there are others)
Many! HH, various boxed mac & cheeses, some Thai and Indian foods.

Do you eat or make salad sandwiches - like ham, chicken, or egg?
Not very often. If I didn't eat the plain eggs after boiling them, I might be inclined to make egg salad, but usually I just eat the hard boiled eggs.

What other salad or made-from-a-mix sammiches can you think of?
