I love pancakes, though don't eat them often. I love thick buttermilk pancakes with no butter and some real maple syrup on them. Bacon on the side, please! If real maple syrup isn't available, the only substitute I like is Log Cabin.

Thanks for the tips Wild Flower. I can generally handle a couple pancakes. Syrups are a bit rich for me. I'd take my pancakes plain...not that "Rooty tooty fresh a fruity" stuff.

I do like pancakes and waffles... 'twas something we always had for a Sunday morning family breakfast when the kiddos were growing up... and still do when they're back home!

Of course, then it's time for a nap until Sunday dinner!
