Big heavy picture tube tvs, compared to much lighter weight flat screens these days.
Thanks WW! Good topic! I love the ways things are going ...lighter and more reliable. I have an LCD monitor and the kids got a 42" LCD for Christmas. I still have 3 CRT sets.
Bigger isn't better,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, however several years ago we bought a big flat screen at 52" and took it back for a smaller one..... I always hated those older tube type tvs.....

I bought a huge Toshiba from a friend as our last TV in Michigan that lasted years and when we moved we left it with the rental house because it weighed 1950 pounds...Not worth the hernia....it worked great but.....
