I don't get very many holidays off work, so when I do have one off, I treasure it! The stretch between New Year's Day and Memorial Day seems sooooooo long. Five whole months of work without a holiday. I'm excited about July 4th falling on a Saturday this year, since we'll have Friday, July 3 off for the holiday. I love Independence Day celebrations, but when July 4 falls mid-week it's kind of a drag having to get up early for work the next day. This year it'll be tons o' fun!
