The couch. I'm such a cautious buyer for big purchases, but I was really off the radar when I chose our couch. Loved it inside the store, but after it came home it didn't take long for me to learn to HATE it for many reasons. It's very heavy, and leather, with recliners at both ends, and I can't access under it without someone else tilting it back. Many lessons learned with this one.

Stuff called Miracle Grow.. I thought it could grow hair.. but it didn't work..

Actually it was something I remember getting from an automotive catalog years ago (before the internet) that promised an increase in gas mileage and performance, I forgot how much I paid for it, but for the time period about 39 years ago in 1976, it was a lot of money. It didn't do anything, and all it did was cause the engine to run rough..

Food, I'd be a rich man right now if it wasn't for all that food we use daily. Eat it today and tomorrow it's gone.

I was surprised anybody was naïve enough to fall for those gas savings gimmick.

As PT Barnum said..............." there is a sucker born every minute "
