I came to the forum earlier today and my favorite go to thread has closed.
I am having favorite thread withdrawal and I think it might be worse than giving up coffee.

What is one of your favorite things or places that has closed or discontinued that thre you into withdrawal mood?

It was a whole different website then this one that had closed down. There was also several great radio hosts that have also moved on and don't broadcast any longer that I miss as well. However that's life,,, we need to move on and find other things to enjoy. (it took me a year or so to get over that withdrawal mood)

Yeah, I still can't get over the cancellation of the 'Howdy Doody' show. Nightmares every night.

When I first saw your thread, that's what came to my mind, Hmm, has she given up coffee?

Omg, lol

~~~
For me, it's favorite TV series. Once they end, I'm so sad, I feel like I'll miss all of the characters (you can watch it again, duh). But then I start a new one, and then I forget all about the old one until the new one ends and I'm so sad, etc... lol
You are so funny and no I have not given up coffee but I have cut back quite a bit.
I actually drink more water than coffee now and it stinks........LOL
I did have major withdrawal in 1986 when they quit making my favorite cereal and I bought every box I could find in every grocery in town.
That was awful and prior to my coffee drinking.
Howdy Doody was a marionette. He was the star of a 1950s children's TV show hosted by a man named Bob Clampett.
I was upset when they stopped making Postum, one of my favorite hot beverages since childhood. You can mail-order it now from a small company that bought the recipe, but it's about $20 a jar including tax and shipping.
Lol! Good to hear though
I had withdrawals when they stopped making the polly waffle chocolate bar.
Even though I didn't have it all that often, it was a childhood favourite
