I always keep the box - even the boxes from care packages from my mom (yes, I'm a momma's boy ) You never know when you'll need one (a box, not a momma's boy).

Extra Credit: If you walk or bicycle after dark, do you wear reflective/bright or light-colored outerwear or marking ? I seldom walk in unlit areas, but if I know that I will then I take my small red flasher.
Just for Fun: Do you use toothpicks ? Yes. I also use the flat variety to clean under my fingernails. a tongue-scraper ? I have one but never use it. an ear/nose-hair trimmer ? Nope.

Generally get rid of it- recycle if possible, even re-use if appropriate.
