Pasco, WA (AHN) - A Washington man apparently went way overboard to get out of work. Police say the man had his friend shoot him in the shoulder so that he wouldn't have to go to work.

If his friend had aimed a little bit higher, could have very possibly hit him in the head instead of the shoulder and the guy would have qualified for the Darwin award.
