All of us have had them, tell us about ones you've seen and felt like saying "What were you thinking? ", you can include those that pertained to you as well, when somebody else could have, or might have asked you the same question..

Age six... what was I thinking when I stuck my Gilbert Erector Set's electric DC 1.5 volt motor wire.. into the house wall socket.. I guess it would make the Ferris Wheel go faster...

I did something similar when I was 5 or so, I stuck a knife into a high-voltage electrical outlet, it actually burned the end of the knife off, thankfully it had a wooden handle. Needless to say I got punished for it..

I think a lot of us can share a similar experience with drivers not paying attention to driving. I was on a freeway recently and I was passing somebody when he started drifting into the lane I was in just as I was passing him on the right, I noticed the driver was looking at a device, a cell phone I'm assuming, instead of looking ahead of him on the road and he came pretty close to hitting the side of my truck. I honked the horn and thankfully he maneuvered back into his lane.

I also stuck something in a receptacle as a child. It was a shocking experience. I've had a few since then too. I've also learned a great deal about electricity over the years. What were you thinking when you opened this bag of worms Mike?
