Europeans don't understand is that the united states is twice the size of Belgium and would easily stretch from southern England to northern France.

According to Wikipedia, Belgium is 30,689 square miles. The US is 3.8 million square miles. Not great at math but wouldn't that make it 100 times bigger than Belgium?

124 times bigger than Belgium. Too many of these maps are created by people with more time on their hands, then knowledge.
