February, eh?

Hey, hi...hope you are well and happy...

~ Have you ever removed wallpaper?
No

~ Have you any holes in your screens? No

~ Is it sometimes a hassle to park near your home? Only if I get home late at night. Being retired, I usually get home before the people who come home from work but when I go to a night meeting (pre-Covid) it was harder to find a spot close to my apartment building.

~ Has any neighbor left a note for you/other neighbors to read? No. The complex rental office puts out a monthly newsletter.

~ Have you any drain cleaning chemical? Yes. Used it Monday.

~ Have you any device that you can insert a disc into? CD player in the car, a portable CD player at home (like an old Walkman) that I have to use with headphones, a CD player in my PC, a CD/DVD external drive that plugs into my computer, a DVD player in my computer, a portable DVD player the size of a laptop.

~ What kind of gasoline must you put into your vehicle? Regular

~ Do you own a tire pressure gauge? No

~ Bread that you have right now... Just some Pillsbury Grands in the fridge.

~ Anything that you have that can be used as a weapon: Yes. The Evil Eye along with more standard things. Need to pick up some garlic for the vampires.

~ Some of your favorite sweet things to eat:

~ How much money would you pay for a rock from Mars? zero dollars

~ Do you collect anything? Not now I don't. I have some, though.

~ Any chain restaurant that you fondly remember? Wetson's, Don Pablos, Fuddruckers, Rustlers Steakhouse ---- I would like to have a Boston Market in my town and if they still exist (they left my former Maryland location) Memphis BBQ.

Hey, hi...hope you are well and happy... - Overall, yeah.

~ Have you ever removed wallpaper? - No

~ Have you any holes in your screens? - Edit - I just checked my one and only small screen and no.

~ Is it sometimes a hassle to park near your home? - Ummm, if out late which hasn't been lately due to obvious reasons, it can be... I have had to circle these long one way blocks a time or two but generally it's not a problem.

~ Has any neighbor left a note for you/other neighbors to read? - A return note from my only next door inconsiderate neighbor I'd rather not deal with anymore. The landlord is aware of the problem and it seems he's on my side. He witnessed the outrageous preventable noise I hear at times which can go on for hours. He promised me he's going to take care of it. I like quiet.

~ Have you any drain cleaning chemical? - No

~ Have you any device that you can insert a disc into? - Computer and car stereo.

~ What kind of gasoline must you put into your vehicle? - Regular. That's all most need but many waste their money. Big oil loves that.

~ Do you own a tire pressure gauge? - No

~ Bread that you have right now... - My favorite, 7 Grain Crunch from Spring Mill Bakery.

~ Anything that you have that can be used as a weapon: - Can be used but I don't see that happening. I feel very safe here in this great neighborhood.

~ Some of your favorite sweet things to eat: - Mangum Milk Chocolate Vanilla ice cream is my current favorite. Sometimes I'll buy a pint. Chocolate macaroons is another I'll purchase once in a while. Wegmans sells them three to a pack. Chocolate muffins is another weakness of mine. If they have any left I'll buy one from a stand at the local farmers market which is open every Saturday morning. Otherwise I try not to bring sweets into my apartment.

~ How much money would you pay for a rock from Mars? - No interest.

~ Do you collect anything? - No

~ Any chain restaurant that you fondly remember? - Not really.

*** Wheee! Have a diggity Friday and weekend! *** - You as well, thank you!

Hey, hi...hope you are well and happy... So far, so good!

~ Have you ever removed wallpaper? Yes; many times. Have done it for myself, for friends and for customers way back when I was a professional paperhanger. I detest that chore! Now, you can't pay me enough to do it.

~ Have you any holes in your screens? I have some small holes in two screens on the front of my house. They were made years ago by a neighborhood cat that used to roam into my yard and terrorize my indoor cat.

~ Is it sometimes a hassle to park near your home? Not for me, but people down the block sometimes have difficulty parking. Some of the homes on my street do not have driveways so people have to park on the street. With families having multiple cars, that makes it pretty difficult for everyone to find a parking space. Fortunately, my two adjacent neighbors and I have driveways, so we can park off the street and the spot in front of my house is almost always open.

~ Has any neighbor left a note for you/other neighbors to read? Not yet.

~ Have you any drain cleaning chemical? Yes. In fact, I just used some this morning, for the first time in quite a while. My bathtub drain is running slow.

~ Have you any device that you can insert a disc into? Yes; a CD player and a DVD player.

~ What kind of gasoline must you put into your vehicle? Regular unleaded / 87 octane.

~ Do you own a tire pressure gauge? Yepper. In fact, I have two.

~ Bread that you have right now... None.

~ Anything that you have that can be used as a weapon: Kitchen knives; tire iron; marble book ends; cast iron skillet.

~ Some of your favorite sweet things to eat: Dark chocolate; ice cream; creme brulee; Werther's caramels.

~ How much money would you pay for a rock from Mars? Zero.

~ Do you collect anything? Yessir. I have collections of porcelain angels, small bird sculptures, fish sculptures, postage stamps (collected them as a kid) and Snow Babies porcelain characters.

~ Any chain restaurant that you fondly remember? Hi House Hamburgers. It was a local chain when I was a little kid. It's been gone for about 50 years.

*** Wheee! Have a diggity Friday and weekend! ***
Thanks for the cool fill-ins, roosty! Happy Fryday, everyone.

Thanks roosty. We have an offer in on a fixer condo with our friends. This could be the one. We're talking about buying our neighbors house too as a rental. That way we can control who lives there. Ugh I really don't want to, but if we do an exchange on the other rental we can defer the taxes. It's a lot to think about, especially since I'm trying to simplify our life.
