SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT TRAVEL!

How many states have you lived in? Two. I've lived all of my life in NW IN except for several months in 1981 when I lived in KC MO.

How many states have you visited? About 15. Additionally, I've ridden in a car through a bunch of other states without stopping.

What's your favorite state? MI or MN.

What's the best place you've ever lived? The NW IN town I live in now. It's a lovely town and my house is in walking distance of the downtown square.

What's the best place you've ever visited? I can't choose just one. In the past several years I've visited a bunch of stunningly beautiful countries in EU where the food is fantastic and the people are friendly.

What place would you most like to live? MI, in the Traverse City area.

What place would you most like to visit? I'd love to see the Grand Canyon and some of the other national parks west of the Mississippi.

What place surprised you the most? (for better or worse) Croatia. Loved it; been there twice and would return in a heartbeat.

Ever traveled south of the equator? (which country / countries?) Nope.

What's the most unusual way you've traveled? (e.g., riding on a camel) Zipline in the jungle canopy in Jamaica.

Thanks for the hump day questions!

11, not counting states I've only passed through on the way to other places.
For me, that would be NJ, MD, DE, the six New England states (and New York obviously), SD, WY, MT, ID, WA, OR, CA, NV (sort of, unplanned stayover), DE, PA, VA, MI, MD, UT, AZ, CO, TN, MS, LA, TX, FL, GA and NC, so the number drops from 39 to 33 (on a quick count). The "travel-through" states are OH, IN, IL, MN or IA (not sure how we routed that part of trip, I sort of slept on the bus at that point), KS, and MO. I must be missing some.

How many states have you lived in?
Only Oklahoma. Hope to change that soon.

How many states have you visited?
States I have done more than just ride through:
Colorado, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Washington D.C., Maryland, Florida, Virginia, California, South & North Carolina.

States I may have stayed in, but can't remember (I've been to them either way):
Illinois, Tennessee.

States I have technically been through, but not stayed (excluding states I've only flied over):
Louisiana (possibly), Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia (possibly)

What's your favorite state?
Probably Massachusetts! I'm a big fan of the New England states. I adore them all, but MA is special.

What's the best place you've ever lived?
I wouldn't classify anywhere in Oklahoma as "best".

What's the best place you've ever visited?
Washington D.C. and Maryland were super cool. Colorado, as well. I liked California, as well.

What place would you most like to live?
Massachusetts! Or Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, New York. Maybe New Hampshire. Of the places I have visited - Maryland, D.C., or Colorado.

What place would you most like to visit?
I want to visit AND move to New England. I would like to visit maybe Washington, Michigan and Alaska. Outside of the US, Canada and pretty much all of Western Europe.

What place surprised you the most? (for better or worse)
Colorado. Because even in the heat of summer, up in the mountains the evenings, nights, and mornings were delightful!

Ever traveled south of the equator? (which country / countries?)
I have never been outside of the US.

What's the most unusual way you've traveled? (e.g., riding on a camel)
I don't think anything applies.
