I don't really eat out but I asked a woman who works at the gym if she would have a bite to eat with me at the Jack In the Box next door to the gym and she said yes. Not wanting to appear naive, does one tip at Jack In the Box?

I would think inviting someone to Jack in the Box would already make a bad impression.

I'd look at it this way. If you go to McDonald's, or Burger King, or any other place like that, do you tip there? Can't see where Jack would be any different than Ronald or the King.

As I said, she loves Jack in the Box which is why I invited her to have a bite with me there.
