I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE
FLAG OF THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA
AND TO THE REPUBLIC, FOR
WHICH IT STANDS, ONE
NATION UNDER GOD,
INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY
AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
For
All of our other military personnel, where ever they may
Be Please Support all of the troops defending our Country.
And God Bless our Military who are protecting our Country for our
Freedom. Thanks To them, and their sacrifices we can celebrate the 4th of July
We must never forget who
Gets the credit for the freedoms we have, of which we should be
Eternally grateful.
I watched the flag
Pass by one day,
It fluttered in the breeze.
A young Marine
Saluted it,
And then he stood at ease..
I looked at Him in uniform
So young, so tall, so proud,
With hair cut square And eyes alert
He'd stand out in any crowd.
I thought how many men
Like him Had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign Soil
How many mothers' tears?
How many pilots' planes Shot down?
How many died at sea
How many foxholes were soldiers' Graves?
No, freedom isn't free.
I heard the sound of Taps One night,
When everything was still, I listened to the bugler
Play And felt a sudden chill. I wondered just how many times
That Taps had meant "Amen,"
When a flag had draped a Coffin. Of a brother or a friend.
I thought of all the Children,
Of the mothers and the wives,
Of fathers, sons and Husbands
With interrupted lives. I
Thought about a graveyard At the bottom of the sea
Of unmarked graves in Arlington.
No, freedom isn't free .

I know it's early but
Have a safe and happy 4th of July
Thanks Brian, and a very special thanks to all of our men and women in the military.
We may not like those, who get us into wars and sometimes can't seem to get us out of them, but we definitely have the utmost respect to those, whose only choice is to follow orders. God bless our men and women of the U.S. military, and may God protect them from the dangers they face everyday.
To honor all our troops, wherever they may be can we all stand and sing,
O! say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming.
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming.
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
And though we don't deserve it, God bless America.
Ever since I can remember, whenever I see someone in uniform, standing next to me or walking by, I make a point to say Thank You to them, even shaking their hand when possible. My Grandfather was a Veteran in WWII I love & respect him. I live for freedom & if it wasn't for the troops fighting for my freedom, I wouldn't be able to feel the air I breath. God Bless & Thank You Troops!!!
