Is this rod for reel? Holy mackerel. I've had it up to the gills with fish stories but this one looks legitimate. According to a recent pole, it appears that Barbie was caught feeding us a line and now we're floundering with baited breath. I don't want to make waves but this incident smelt fishy at first since it tipped the scales of reason but I've looked at it from boat sides now and I'm urchin you to believe it.

I once caught a 32" rainbow trout on a 3' Scooby Doo kiddie pole! No lie! And no I wasn't a kid!

This is so funny! We recently bought my grandaughter her fishing pole of choice--a Barbie fishing pole. I told my husband to watch as she will probably be the one to catch that huge Channel Catfish! That was before I ever read this...how funny!! And yes these childrens fishing ploes work just fine--my grandaughter was catching fish all day long! Not any world records but enough to satisfy her!
