I love the show House Hunters on HGTV. Recently I was watching it and the couple was looking at a house and they were very happy to se a grade school across the street (they didn't have kids.... yet) and the first thing that came to my mind was.. "No way do I wanna live across the street from a school... any kind of school!"

I wouldn't wanna live across from a fire station either. I'd have anxiety wondering if I'm gonna get woken up by sirens each night.

Or an airport or train tracks.

Or even a park. I lived across the street from a park for 3 years and every weekend it was full of people blasting thumping music. Awful!

So... what wouldn't you want to live across the street from?

And if you wouldn't mind living across from places others don't want to, tell me why?

Any kind of thing that would have a lot of people (esp from out of the neighborhood) parking in front of it (park/school/sports field). And no major roads, either.

I'd hate to live across from one of those places full of liars, thieves, drug addicts, perverts, whores, etc.

I know the capitol building is pretty and everything, but there's no way I'd want to live right across the street from it...

I wouldn't mind a graveyard so much - it's not the dead people I'm worried about.
