Paula, my work week actually starts at 11 p.m. Sunday night and I go into Monday morning. I drive a truck and deliver to retail stores from the retailer's distribution center. Sunday night/Monday morning is our light day; we only ship refrigerated product. So I'm happy just doing one trip and going home; it's tough to get back into the "groove after being off the weekend... (Sometimes a few of us drivers will meet for breakfast at the Waffle House Monday morning, so that's a nice way to end the day!) I enjoy my job immensely, so Mondays aren't too bad.
I like my Mondays with handles on them. Then I can use both hands.
But then again sometimes I don't even know what day of the week it is or even care. In the rare case I do, it is nice to pick up your Monday and take it with you.
When I was working I had no problem with Monday. Each day is a gift and I choose to enjoy every one of them. I would say "Happy Monday" to people and that would make them laugh
As a rule Mondays don't do much for me unless there's a good football game on. But wait. Monday holidays are pretty cool! And now that I think about it, I first met my wife on a Monday. No, that was a Friday that just seemed like a Monday. Never mind.
I actually like Mondays right now, because I either work late (12-9pm) or have the day off, depending on the month - we work a rotating schedule, since we're open 7 days a week. But I know what you're asking, and I get through with the help of some caffeine. I'm definitely not a morning person, which is the main reason I look forward to days off... SLEEP!!!!
Oh, but I like what ellie said, how nothing has gone wrong yet - LOL! It's also fun to see your co-workers, and talk about what you did over the weekend.
