Berries!

Straw..., blue...., rasp..., blackberries (not the electronic ones )! They are in season in the stores and just what the doctor ordered with some whipped cream on top.

This must be an official sign that spring has sprung, at least in California, where yesterday's batch of strawberries came from.

Even those who live in places that are still cold this time of year can have some springtime in a bowl.

My happy today is the great time spouse and I had at breakfast with our daughter and her boyfriend. They're great kids, and we really enjoy spending time with them, but since they're both working and going to school fulltime, that doesn't happen very often. It was jolly fun this morning to get a couple of hours of conversation and laughter with them.
