Oh me too!
I'll drop this bomb every once in awhile but I have a vendor that this is every other word. It's a chore to talk to her.
We were at a bike event...Pat Travers was playing...and the MC had to work this word in every sentence.
You know it's bad when a bunch of bikers commented on it.
It's like...ok...you've shown us you know the word and how to use it in a sentence....it doesn't mean you have to!
My late mother always used to point out that the actual meaning of the word is a very wonderful thing, and that using "f*** you" as an insult was sort of a contradiction in terms. She always felt that it would be much more appropriate to say "un-f*** you" if you really wanted to hurt a person.
DEFINITEY agree with you..... I absolutely detest that word!!!
Why people use it, it is beyond me!! It is definitely a discredit to the english language!!!
I heard it a lot more when I was in NY and FL. Now I am in the Bible Belt and I never hear adults curse. I never really noticed it until you brought it up today. It's actually nice not to hear cursing. I have to watch TV for that, lol.
I've also heard seniors, mostly men, say it when they are in a group together. It must be the herd mentality or something. I also really hate it when women start cursing like sailors. I just wasn't raised that way.
Remember Eddie Murphy in "Raw"? Now that was way overdone.
LOL... Be careful Charley, Alice might be in a "Send a poster to his room" mood right now, so watch your $%&*@'n language!
