Has someone influenced your life so much that you have tried to emulate or pattern your life? Mine was my maternal grandmother. She was the ultimate lady, loaded with class, gracious beyond belief, great party giver and goer (not great in the kitchen tho-LOL). I never met another like her and know she would be proud of the woman I've become.

No. I just live my life, take the good with the bad, and learn from experience.

I have had some incredible influences in my life and I tried to take a little of each but still remain my own person. My parents have always taught kindness and you live what you learn.

I am not at all stating I am perfect just trying to be the best I can without stepping on or hurting anyone in my journey of life.

I'm stealing Crazy's answer. I can be kind and steal, right? But seriously, I think she summed up my opinion pretty well!

And that's the way we should all be-that's why I took some of the best from her and added my own-but my basics were her.

lol, My sister and I always say we learned how NOT to be Grandparents from our mother....so we do the opposite.
I also check myself when someone says I'm like my Dad. That one is usually followed by "Bless your heart"
