Well, back in the days, the longest I ever slept in was until 12 or 1 in the afternoon! (back when I was in the Army and just came off of CQ Duty; which was 24 hours long to guard the barracks and headquarters of the company area).

Lately, I slept in til 9:30. I can't sleep past 9 anymore these days. I like getting up early nowadays.

When I was in the Navy, we came into Norfolk at 6 a.m.--and 5/6 of the ship was given liberty instantly. I went to sleep instead. I'd been up two days already. When I woke up, it was dark, and definitely after 6 p.m.

I have slept til like 3pm, but that was following a stretch of maybe 4 hours sleep in 2 days....in my younger days I could do that sort of thing.

If I can't get to sleep right away when I go to bed it may be 10 or 11 in the morning. Usually only 3 or 4 hours sleep at that.

If I stay up til 3 or 4am, and if I forget to set the alarm, I can easily sleep until 1:30 or 2pm. So now when I stay up too late, I set the alarm and get up around 10:30. I am working my way back slowly to day time, which would mean I can't stay up so late on this site. See, it's city-datas fault.
