MACON, Ga. (AP) - Ralph Baker isn't too upset that he lost $60 when someone broke into his Macon apartment and stole his wallet. It's the penny that was tucked inside the black billfold that really has him riled. Baker found the once-shiny penny at a Long Island train station the day he left to join the Navy in 1965.
lol twinsie, you noticed a pattern on the Other Topic news here? A couple of news thread ago, a woman handed out her chicken scratch handwriting to a bank teller saying she was robbing them for $300.00?? Maybe she was on a lay-away plan.
Aww, poor guy. I'd offer to replace it with one of my own -- I'd even send him a "wheat" penny, which is actually worth more than a penny, except that's not the point. I feel so bad for him.

Yeah, wacky stuff. If I decided to rob a bank and risk serious prison time I would certainly ask for more than 300 bucks!!....LOL.
Awww...that is just sad. I bet we all have some little something that we've saved for a long time because it brings back a happy memory and isn't worth anything to anyone but us.
