my son left his ipod in his jeans pocket, it got washed in the washing machine we read online to put it in a sealed container of rice for a week or two--we're hoping it works
Who still has to get candy & stuff ? Not us - actually we're just back from the supermarket, we bought "our" candies today. And since I took chocolaty stuff, I asked hubby not to touch them... Still have to buy some things to decorate, though

We live in a gated community, supposedly a secure place. But since these guys managed to get in anyway, I started freaking out. I know, it's silly, but this whole story just drove me nuts! Hubby told me I was saying silly things ever since it happened...

We will go visit FIL at the house (he is back from tending to MIL for the day while other kids keep her company) He needs a break from sitting in the hospital all the time. Then tomorrow, when some of the others head back home, we will go sit with MIL in the ICU. She is getting better but it is going to be a long road ahead.

What was the last thing you did that " made a difference" ? my "job" in the extended family is "peacekeeper". I am the one that the siblings will "vent" to and my job is to calm them down.

ok Fess up who dresses their pets in a costume ? Not I, but when they stayed at the kennel last week they were in the doggy parade the town holds! I didn't even know, but they were dressed as dashies and they're old, pudgy corgi mixes, so that must have been funny! They came home from being groomed with halloween kerchiefs. Too cute!!!

What are your plans for this weekend ? Painting windows and trim in my kitchen. Wanna come help? Come on, make a difference!! lol Then I'm roasting duck breast w/ blackberry, balsamic confit and serving along side roasted yams, pumpkin, and beets! There, did that get your interest piqued?
