Good morning everyone
Happy Tuesday

It is another wonderful morning here in NE FL
I left the sliding door to the screenroom open last night so it was a grab the fuzzyrobe morning lol

Today is school I am picking up the hugs we made last week and today we are doing "leaves" so I have to go out and pick a big bag of different sized leaves
I don't want to be late so I guess I better get moving along with

Today's Question(s):
I can't believe I forgot to ask

Did any of our QOTD family do or plan to do the big " Fall cleaning" ?

What is your biggest "Fall cleaning project" ?

Bonus Question:
I just realized Thanksgiving is only 23 days away !!

Will you be having Turkey Day at your home or will you be going somewhere?

Extra Credit Question:
In honor of National Sandwich Day

What was the last sandwich you ate ?

What is your all time favorite sandwich ?

Good morning!

I went to the hair salon yesterday afternoon, I wanted a lighter color but ended up with something much darker (I don't miss too many things about France but I really do miss Stephanie, my hair stylist... well, at least I really really missed her yesterday! )

Today's Question(s):
I can't believe I forgot to ask

Did any of our QOTD family do or plan to do the big " Fall cleaning" ? Since I haven't much to do during the day, I may get into that...

What is your biggest "Fall cleaning project" ?

Bonus Question:

Will you be having Turkey Day at your home or will you be going somewhere? No Thanksgiving for us.

Extra Credit Question:
In honor of National Sandwich Day

What was the last sandwich you ate ? Oh dear, I don't eat sandwiches very often... may have been roastbeef... but I'm not sure

What is your all time favorite sandwich ? Potato omelette sandwich, in French baguette. Very heavy on the stomach, but goooooooood!

Word of the Day:
sommelier \suhm-uhl-YEY; Fr. saw-muh-LYEY\ , noun;
1. To involuntarily repeat a particular response, such as a word, phrase, or gesture
No no no. A sommelier tastes wine in restaurants, and advises you about what to drink with such or such dish...

Today is:
National Sandwich Day
Cliche Day
National Housewife's Day Yeah, a day for me!
Scale Day
Give Someone a Dollar Today Day OK

Have a great day!

Is it a second star I see! Oh-my-Gosh!
Thank you

At our house, it's more like a big pre-holiday cleaning than an early fall tradition. We try to overcome the natural entropy of our house enough to be able to welcome holiday guests without too much embarrassment.

What is your biggest "Fall cleaning project"?

I don't think any one of them stands out. We try to do a whole-house cleaning, spread out over multiple weekends.

Bonus Question:
I just realized Thanksgiving is only 23 days away !!

Will you be having Turkey Day at your home or will you be going somewhere?

We'll be fixing Thanksgiving dinner at our home - already have a 25-pound bird on order from our favorite meat vendor at the Farmers' Market, and we're debating which pies (besides pumpkin, of course) to make this year. Our son insists on fudge-pecan pie every year, so that's a strong possibility, and the daughter is yearning for my Dutch apple pie, but I've got a bag of cherries from the Farmers' Market in the freezer that I'd really like to use, too. I think perhaps four varieties is just a bit too much - though my late father-in-law would have strenuously disagreed!

Extra Credit Question:
In honor of National Sandwich Day

What was the last sandwich you ate?

Peanut-butter and honey on whole wheat for yesterday's lunch.

What is your all time favorite sandwich?

Gosh, I'd have to say that it's hard to beat a grilled cheese sandwich made with sharp cheddar on whole wheat bread. Particularly if it is accompanied by a mug of tomato soup.
