BOGOTA, Colombia -- A Colombian woman declared dead of a heart attack moved one of her arms just as an undertaker was about to embalm her, doctors said Wednesday.

'Dead' Woman Moves Arm At Funeral Home - Irresistible News Story - KCRA Sacramento (http://www.kcra.com/irresistible/22591864/detail.html - broken link)
Way back in the days before embalming, a friend of mine's dad was at his aunts funeral at a church. Out of the blue, she 'woke up' and sat up, asking what was going on. Needless to say, at first the church vacated for a few moments till everyone calmed down and realized what happened.
My dad told me the embalming process, as it was in the 1950's, could cause muscle reactions. He sometimes cut hair for a funeral home, down the street from his barber shop, and would come home with stories of all kinds of movement by the dead.
