I came across this earlier today and thought I'd share. It's a video clip and can be found here.

I have never in my life pictured (or heard of!) something like this happening... wow! Otters may look cute, but it sure sounds like you wouldn't want to mess around with one of those critters! Yikes!

Couple thoughts here...first your heart has to go out to the older man who was mauled by an otter

and next I guess you can never be to safe.....prolly otter just mind your own business and keep to yourself....

What a really odd story!! I used to live near a creek that had otters and I didn't even know they would do that. Of course, this one apparently (as per the news story) is rabid. Luckily it attacked an adult instead of a child.

no he was not attacked by an otter man he was an otter and attacked an older man.
