After a physically and emotionally exhausting week at school, the LAST thing I would want to do on the weekend is activities.

We laugh that my daughter's idea of a perfect Saturday is to never have to take her PJ's off. She loves to sleep late and then hang around the house--cooking, reading, watching a movie or texting her friends. Or all 4 at once. Still, we pry her out to do some things, either as a family, or with one of us. She sees friends sometimes and does some babysitting. But she's very happy as a homebody.

Sounds good to me too; OTOH, I'm pretty sure this is pretty close to the definition of hell for my son. By 11 am, I'd be having to listen to him whine about how bored he is....Don't get me wrong. He is often perfectly happy to hang around the house in the evenings with us, watching a movie or something but hanging around the house during the day....not for him.
